Why we built this

Chile's land market is fragmented. Foreign buyers face language barriers, unfamiliar notarial processes, and a scarcity of reliable information about what ownership actually means for a non-resident. Meanwhile, rural landowners in Los Lagos or Araucanía have no efficient channel to reach international buyers willing to pay a fair price.

Chilelands exists to close that gap. We built a marketplace where every listing goes through an editorial review, every contact detail is gated behind registration (so sellers aren't spammed), and every buyer gets the legal and tax context they need before they reach out.

How it works

Owners submit

Chilean landowners create a free account and submit their listing — photos, GPS coordinates, size, price, and contact details. No commission upfront.

We review

Every listing is manually reviewed before going live. Incomplete, duplicated, or suspicious listings are rejected with clear feedback so owners can correct and resubmit.

Buyers connect

Registered buyers browse verified listings and contact owners directly. We provide the context — legal process, taxes, due diligence checklist — so conversations start informed.

Transaction closes

Buyer and seller work with their respective legal counsel. Chilelands earns a success fee only upon closing — aligned with your outcome, not our volume.
